Well it has been a long time since I have had a reason to use this blog handle. In my last venture I sadly realized that being in New York just meant I was too far away to offer anything new or interesting to the Disney online community. As fate (and maybe a little bit of pixie dust) would have it a reason came only a few weeks ago. Now I have a new reason to blog and something that will hopefully lead to an exciting new chapter in life.
This new venture is the Disney College Program. Since I am graduating in May I knew this would be my last opportunity to apply for the Disney College Program and since I am trying to get back to my life goal of no regrets I decided to apply and let the universe decide if it was meant to be or not. After a brief week of anxiety and ups and downs I got that coveted email informing me that I had been selected to be a Cast Member in the program and that I would be working in Attractions. I was so excited that I paid my housing dues right away and selected the dates August 29, 2012- January 4, 2013. For now this blog will be updated with my journey in the College Program pre-arrival phase and also any Disney news I hear. Once I get to the world I will be under the Disney CM contract and will not be able to share all the fun new information I may come across but I will be sure to pass along anything I can.
Right now the reason for this blog is to encourage people to look into the college program as a potential opportunity while they are in school or shortly after graduation. I hope that through my experience people will be able to get some deeper insight into the entire program.
